Now in its 10th year, the East Africa International Arbitration Conference  2023 will take place in Hotel Verde Zanzibar on the 23rd to 25th August 2023. The conference, themed: A golden age, celebrating the past and the future of International Arbitration in Africa, will be a celebration of a journey as we take time to review the last 10 years, providing practical plans to position the continent to play a beneficial role in the advancement of the Arbitration Industry.

The ​​3 Days will include a ​​Pre-conference Young Arbitrators Career Day Webinar,​​ 1 dedicated day of in-person Trainings (Advocacy and Arbitrator Skills) as well as​​ 2 main in-person conference days of panel discussions, debates, presentations, town hall sessions with audience participation and networking. The Program will culminate with a ​​Gala Dinner and the ​​Africa Arbitration Awards.

EAIAC provides an unrivalled platform for International Arbitration Practitioners, Arbitration Users, State Counsel, Academia, and In-House Corporate Lawyers to learn, share best practice, network and deliberate on International Arbitration as an important tool for promoting FDI in Africa. EAIAC also provides a forum to promote, profile and celebrate Africa’s International Arbitration & Arbitrators​.
