Wairimu Karanja is a member of the EAIAC Program Committee. She is a Partner and Chief Legal Officer at Persistent Energy Capital LLC, Africa’s Climate Venture Builder. She has over 12 years’ legal experience in climate, energy and corporate law matters. She was previously founder at W&Co|Law + Policy and has worked in leading Kenyan and international law firms. Wairimu has a Post-Graduate Master of Laws (LL.M) in Energy and Policy from the University of Dundee’s Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP). She has a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Nairobi.
