Please note that it is the responsibility of each delegate travelling to Nigeria to meet the correct visa requirements. The information below is only a reference to assist you in obtaining your visa as efficiently as possible.
Nigeria e-Visa Application System and Automated Landing & Exit Card
Effective May 1, 2025, the Nigeria Immigration Service rolled out the e-Visa Application System as follows:
The e-Visa system works as follows:
- The e-Visa application process is fully online from end to end
- Processing time for e-Visas will be 48 hours or less
- Most attendees will need a visa (Business (Single Entry) Visa – F4A) to visit Nigeria. We suggest starting the visa process as soon as you register for a smooth travel experience. Kindly Apply here: https://evisa.immigration.gov.ng/
- Once approved, e-Visas and QR codes will be sent electronically to the applicant’s email.
- If you require a Visa Facilitation Letter, please email your request to eaiac@iarbafrica.com
- Visa on Arrival (VOA) has officially been discontinued effective May 1, 2025 as it is now replaced by the e-Visa Application System
Landing and Exit Cards
Manual landing embarkation and disembarkation cards have been replaced by electronic landing and exit cards. More details can be found at https://lecard.immigration.gov.ng/
- Landing cards are to be completed online before boarding
- Exit cards are to be completed online before departure
Passport Validity
All visitors to Nigeria must have a valid passport for at least six months with at least 2 blank visa pages for endorsement.
Visa Exempt Nationalities
Nationals of the following ECOWAS countries do not require a visa to enter Nigeria:
- Benin
- Burkina Faso
- Cape Verde
- Ivory Coast
- Gambia
- Ghana
- Guinea
- Guinea Bissau
- Liberia
- Mali
- Niger
- Senegal
- Sierra Leone
- Togo
