Duncan is a barrister and a partner and head of the international arbitration team at Howard Kennedy in London. He acts as counsel in arbitration proceedings and in international litigation. He has worked on some of the most important cases concerning African jurisdictions in recent years, including acting for states and in multi-billion dollar court proceedings. Duncan is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and sits as arbitrator in selected cases. He is a member of the ICC UK Arbitration Committee, and the acting Registrar of the Scottish Arbitration Centre.
